God may be silent but he is not absent. Matthew 1:23 says, “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “ God with us”). When you hear God’s silence and feel his absence, trust his presence. God is with us and God is active even when God is silent.
Does God really care me?
God does care about you and loves you. That can be hard to believe in those times when we feel alone. Other times we may acknowledge God but feel like he is very difficult to connect with and far away. The thing we need to focus on is that God’s attitude towards us is one of complete love.

God cares about whatever you care about. Just like Solomon, God is able to do abundantly more than we can ask for or think about or pray for. God does not just want to answer your prayers. God’s heart is to do even more than you are asking him for.
